Hand-poured candles rooted in the Church's worship, seasons, and devotional life.
Incensum was founded in Carnegie, Pennsylvania, to make candles worthy of the traditional Catholic home. Most candles are made only to decorate a room. We wanted something with roots: incense, beeswax, Marian flowers, holy oils, vigil light, and the seasons of the Church.
For every candle sold, Incensum donates 10% of the candle’s purchase price to support the Institute of Christ the King Sovereign Priest and its work of preserving and spreading the Traditional Latin Mass.
Fragrances shaped by incense, beeswax, sacred seasons, and the quiet memory of Catholic worship.
Made in small batches in Carnegie, with attention to wax, fragrance, cure time, and finish.
A coconut and beeswax blend chosen for a clean burn, warm character, and steady fragrance.
Made for prayer corners, family Rosaries, feast days, quiet evenings, and the domestic church.
Our four signature candles are intended to remain available year-round, each carrying a different part of the Catholic imagination into the home.
Frankincense, myrrh, and beeswax for the deep interior of prayer.
A Marian floral candle for the Rosary, Marian feasts, and devotion to Our Lady.
A resinous candle inspired by holy oils, Pentecost, and the sacramental life.
A candle for night prayer, watchfulness, and the small light kept in faith.
We are not trying to make Catholic-themed candles in the shallow sense. We are trying to make candles that feel at home beside a crucifix, an icon, a family Rosary, or a prayer book left open on the table. The goal is simple: help Catholic homes become a little more recollected, a little more beautiful, and a little more rooted in the faith.
